It is recorded in front of a live-to-tape audience. On June 20, 2008 the show won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show. The 4th season began on September 8, 2008. The show had 4 seasons and 511 episodes in September 2008. On December 19, 2008 the show was extended for two seasons until 2010. The new season will premiere on September 8, 2009.
