Celebrity Guests

TV Talk Shows are TV or Radio programs. Sometimes these shows present a group of guests who have experience on a related issue. Other times, a guest talks about their work with a host.

Talk Shows such as Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr Phil Show, Ellen DeGeneres Show, Rachael Ray Show, and Tyra Banks Show have run for years. They present celebrity guests and short comedy presentations.

During the show one person or several people talk about different topics. Some talk shows receive real-time phone calls from people listening at home and/or in their cars. Talk shows often present celebrities.

They talk about their work, personal lives, latest films, music albums, or other projects being promoted. The hosts are often comedians who begin their shows with comedy dialogues. They were broadcast on television since its earliest days.

Joe Franklin was an American radio and television personality. He hosted the first talk show. It began in 1951 on WABC-TV and later moved to WWOR-TV. Steve Allen was the first host of The Tonight Show.

It began in New York and later moved to the NBC network in 1954. Allen created the format for late night shows. This format includes an opening monologue, celebrity interviews, audience participation, and comedy moments with music.
