Greys Anatomy is set
in a fictional hospital





Greys Anatomy is an American Drama TV Show. It follows the hectic lives of surgeons and residents in the fictional Seattle Grace Mercy-West Hospital.



Sometimes their job begins in the middle of the night. There has been an accident in the middle of the night. The patient is immediately brought to the emergency room.



While looking at the patient’s case, surgeons go over worst case scenarios. They also decide what will be done to save the patient’s life. The patient is given a respiratory anesthetic to put him to sleep.

The surgery then begins. It takes a team to complete a surgery. The post-surgery procedure includes several check-ups to see if the scar is healing properly.



Other times there is no hope. The surgeons did everything possible to save a patient, but help came too late. The patient is gone. Everyone is turning to any distraction they can find.



A recovering Izzie returns to work. The residents compete to survive. Cristina tries to work alongside Arizona. Bailey and Alex's patient case is further complicated by her schizophrenic son.



When Meredith and Lexie's father returns for help, it's up to Meredith to save his life. Day one of the hospital merger begins. Izzie experiences the brunt of her new surgical competition.



Derek tests the Chief's authority when Richard refuses to do the risky surgery. A generous donation is offered to Seattle Grace by the parents of Arizona's 10-year-old patient.
